As we step into a brand-new year, we can’t help but reflect on the last couple of months since taking the leap and purchasing The Cottage at Woodland Farm. What an incredible whirlwind it has been! From the moment we first set foot on this property, we felt its magic and potential—but we could never have imagined just how much encouragement and support we’d receive from our community, family, and friends.

Every message, visit, and kind word fuels our passion for transforming this space into something truly special. The vision we have for The Cottage is deeply rooted in creating a space where connection & community thrive, and knowing that so many of you are already cheering us on keeps us motivated.
To our families: your willingness to roll up your sleeves and tackle the challenges with us means everything. From preparing the cottage for its first overnight stays to planning out future landscaping, every project has been a team effort. My husband, especially, has been an incredible partner in bringing this dream to life, working tirelessly to ensure that every detail reflects the charm and history of the property while adding touches that will make it shine for years to come. He is also buidling every single farm table himself… & is prideful knowing the many meals shared on those beautiful tables to come <3
And to the couples who have already entrusted us with their special days: your confidence in our vision inspires us daily. It’s an honor to be part of your love stories, and we’re working hard to make sure this space is ready for you. With our first wedding scheduled for May, every decision we make is guided by the goal of creating an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.
Looking ahead, our New Year’s resolution is simple yet profound: we want to continue putting our hearts into every detail, every renovation, and every event we host. This year will be filled with long days and countless projects, but knowing what lies ahead—the laughter, the memories, the “I do’s”—makes it all worth it.
