Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes one of the most exciting milestones for us at The Cottage at Woodland Farm—our first-ever weddings! This May, we will celebrate love in full bloom with two beautiful springtime weddings, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to open our doors to our very first couples.
Spring is an ideal season to embrace both the indoors and outdoors, and The Cottage at Woodland Farm is the perfect venue for a seamless blend of both. The weather is just right—no more winter chill, but not yet the heat of summer—making it the perfect time to take full advantage of our indoor-outdoor spaces.
Our venue truly comes to life in the spring. As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our magnificent willow tree, standing proudly at the entrance of the barn and serving as one of our most sought-after ceremony locations. The landscape surrounding the property bursts into color, with mature crabapple trees lining the parking lot and bridal cottage, creating a picture-perfect setting for wedding portraits. These trees, along with the seasonal flowers in bloom, add a romantic charm to the entire property.
We encourage couples to think creatively about how to move their guests throughout the property, ensuring an experience that feels both dynamic and intimate. A ceremony under the willow tree, cocktail hour in the lower barn, and a grand reception inside the barn is a combination that allows guests to experience the charm of every part of our venue. The lower barn, a cozy yet airy space, is ideal for cocktail hour, offering a relaxed atmosphere before the evening festivities move into the barn for dinner and dancing. This thoughtful flow keeps guests engaged while allowing them to explore the beauty of the property throughout the day.
